50 Pakistani pilgrims die in Saudi Arabia

ISLAMABAD: As many as 50 Pakistani pilgrims died in Saudi Arabia due to natural causes since October 21 after reaching the holy land to perform the religious obligation of Hajj.
The Chief Coordinator of the Ministry of Religious Affairs, Farogh Aftab Zaidi told a state-run news agency here on Thursday that the heirs of the deceased have been intimated about the sad demises in Saudi Arabia. However, he said that all other Pakistani pilgrims were safe and sound in the holy sites and no one died of swine flu or fallen prey to Wednesday's heavy rain and flooding in Makkah.
